At Sustantum, we see the Voluntary National Review (VNR) as an essential instrument for countries to evaluate their progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), identify persistent challenges, and share best practices. The VNR process does not only reinforce transparency and accountability, but also promotes inclusive engagement across government, civil society, the private sector, and actors at the subnational level.
We have studied over 300 VNRs since 2016, building a deep understanding of global trends, common gaps, and innovative approaches to SDG implementation. Our team includes experts with experience in SDG analysis dating back to the adoption of the 2030 Agenda in 2015.
